What should my Total Alkalinty be kept at?
Date: Wednesday 06 June, 2007
FAQ Summary:
Recommended range is 80 to 120 ppm, but 80 is the target.
FAQ Content:
The Total Alkalinity is very critical in a salt pool to keep the calcium from building up on your cell. Keep this as close to 80 ppm as you can. Do not worry about the pH since it will always appear to be high due to the sodium in the salt. By maintaining your TA your water will be crystal clear and your chlorine will be more effective.
