Nipple (1.5" X 6") TBE, Cpvc (9215-060)

This is the nipple you want to use for your pump intake and output. It provides higher heat than standard pvc and will not distort as easy if you pump does not prime immediately.

• Great for high heat to 200 degrees fahrenheit so that it is not easily deformed (regular PVC fittings start to deform at 140 F).
• Will not distort so you will not get a leak on your pump plumbing
• This is strongly recommended for use on threaded pump connections
• The threads are machined, not molded, and they are graduated, insuring a tighter fit
• It greatly reduces the problems with drip leaks or air leaks at the intake and outlet of the pump.
• Use a pipe joint compound rather than silicone or teflon tape on the threads when screwing it into the pump.

Notes: Cut the nipple in 1/2 and use 1/2 on the intake (suction side) and 1/2 on the discharge side of pump.
